Peter Lamb

Peter first started act­ing in high school, par­tic­i­pat­ing in school musi­cals; he con­tin­ued act­ing at uni­ver­sity whilst com­plet­ing an arts degree. He started per­form­ing pro­fes­sion­ally in the Bris­bane the­atre scene in the mid 1980’s After work­ing exten­sively in Queens­land, he moved to Syd­ney in the late 90’s to per­form with the Bell Shake­speare Com­pany, play­ing Mac­beth in a tour­ing production.

Peter has per­formed in many shows with Bell Shake­speare, and worked with many notable direc­tors, includ­ing Steven Berkoff, Jim Shar­man, and of course, John Bell.

He has appeared in a num­ber of Aus­tralian tele­vi­sion series over the years includ­ing guest roles in pro­duc­tions such as Under­belly Two, Wild Side and Bas­tard Boys. He has had ongo­ing roles in Fire­flies, All Saints and Home and Away.

In film, he had roles in the Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Rev­o­lu­tions, Chameleon Three, and South Pacific.

He has recently appeared in the Aus­tralian films Acci­dents Hap­pen and Bro­ken Hill and is cur­rently work­ing on his first novel and co-writing his first screenplay.
