Winner — Jury Special Mention

The jury of the “Fifth International Film Festival for Children”, held last week in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia, has awarded BROKEN HILL a “Special Mention”.

Festival Director Nune Manukyan explained that BROKEN HILL won the special jury mention for “successfully making music an organic element of the film”.

The Int’l Film Fest for Children is a non-profit festival funded by the Armenian Rolan Bykov Foundation with the goal of “building cultural bridges between the children of all nations”.

And on festivals…Broken Hill has been accepted into the Minsk International Film Festival Listapad (Republic of Belarus) to be held mid November. Also at Accolade (La Jolla, CA) to be held early January.

Congratulations again to all involved.

  1. My husband Larry & I absolutely loved Broken Hill – it is rare that we see a movie that we both absolutely love. This is a movie that absolutely must have a national/international release. Broken Hill is action oriented, romantic (but not too much for guys!), exciting & uplifting & you can even take kids to see it. Congratulations on your outstanding work!
