Broken Hill in 2010

The new year brings very exciting news for Broken Hill. Namely its release in Australia, but more of that later.

First, festivals and screenings -
2010 will see Broken Hill continue to travel the world on the festival circuit. There was a sold out screening in Atlanta for the Walker School, we will be at the Dhaka International Film festival this week, Canadian premiere in Feb, as well as Wales, Czech Republic & Sth Africa  and others in the coming months.

Keep your eye out for a location near you.

Details on the Australian release of Broken Hill are still under wraps but our Aussie fans and Broken Hill locals can know that it will be exciting. Deals are being done with sponsors and institutions to host the extended roll out. Without giving too much away, here are a few hints on which you can speculate.

Celebrity.
Cricket.
Author.

Peter Rancie, CEO of Audience Alliance Pictures, had this to say about Broken Hill.

‘I am continually receiving feedback from those who have seen Broken Hill. They usually tell me that it is now among their favorites. The number of awards, the number of enthusiasts, and the number of those who can and will play pivotal roles in taking the BH worldwide audience from trickle to ‘juggernaut’ is growing, rapidly. It may not be an Avatar or a Sherlock Holmes but there is still plenty of life in this film.’

Looking forward to a great year for Broken Hill.
