Accolade Film Festival

Bro­ken Hill recently won awards at The Acco­lade Film Awards. Enter­ing its sev­enth year, The Acco­lade is an inter­na­tional, non-traditional, vir­tual venue. Awards go to those film­mak­ers who pro­duce fresh, stand­out enter­tain­ment, ani­ma­tion and com­pelling doc­u­men­taries. The Acco­lade is a show­case for cin­e­matic gems and unique voices.

In the 2010 edi­tion of The Acco­lade Com­pe­ti­tion BROKEN HILL won TWO “Awards of Excel­lence” and THREE “Awards of Merit”…

Accolade Trophy

The “Awards of Excel­lence” were in the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories:
1) AWARD OF EXCELLENCE: ORIGINAL SCORE (Awarded to Chris Brady).
2) AWARD OF EXCELLENCE: SOUND EDITING/MIXING (Awarded to Audioloc).

The “Awards of Merit” were in the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories:
1) DIRECTION (Dagen Mer­rill)
2) LEADING ACTOR (Luke Arnold)
3) FEATURE FILM (Bro­ken Hill)
